Why Start Here

Mold grows where the moisture is.

That might be behind a wall, under a sink, around an AC vent or in an attic that doesn’t breathe. So the patch you’ve spotted may be one part of a bigger area, fed by water you can’t see.

In Houston’s humidity, moisture is usually what keeps mold coming back. If the source stays, treatment won’t hold, so we look for it before anyone talks about price.

On the Visit

What the specialist looks at.

A specialist walks the home with you, starting with the area that worried you.

Visible growth

We find it, photograph it and note roughly how much area it covers.

Moisture

Where it helps, we take moisture readings on walls, floors and ceilings to see where water is getting in or sitting.

The likely cause

Most often it’s a roof leak, a plumbing leak or a room that doesn’t ventilate well. We tell you which one we think it is.

Your Microbial Inspection Report

We talk you through what we found before we leave. The report, with photos and our notes, follows by text and email.

After the Inspection

Where it goes from here.

We work alongside licensed professionals, we’re not competing with them, we’re completing the solution. These are the usual ways a visit ends.

Nothing to treat

If we don’t find anything that needs treatment, we say so. That’s the end of it.

Fix the water first

Treatment won’t last while water is still getting in. If there’s an active leak, we point you to the right trade before anything else.

More than 25 square feet

In Texas, mold growth covering more than 25 contiguous square feet must be handled by a state-licensed contractor. They remove the affected material, and we can provide our services after their work is complete.

Whole-home treatment

If treatment is the right call, the quote covers our patented VaPURE™ dry fog for the whole home, typically with no demolition. Most homes are done in a day.

Frequently Asked

Questions about the inspection.

Homeowners pay nothing. If you rent, call us first at 346-676-8181 and we’ll explain how tenant inspections work.

It helps. The visible patch doesn’t show how far the growth reaches or what keeps it damp, and the size of the area decides who should do the work.

Photos of what we found and our notes on it, including the likely moisture source. It arrives by text and email after the visit.

We’ll tell you at the inspection and explain who needs to do the work first. Once a licensed contractor has finished, we can treat the whole home.

There’s no obligation. If treatment makes sense you get a quote, and the decision is yours.

We do, once the inspection shows treatment makes sense. Our patented VaPURE™ dry fog reaches the whole home in one visit. Read more about mold treatment.
